How often should a boiler be serviced?
Once a year. An annual service keeps your boiler running safely and efficiently, usually keeps the manufacturer's warranty valid, and heads off breakdowns — especially through winter.
How much is a boiler service?
Our boiler service starts from £60. It can be combined with a landlord gas safety check on the same visit, which is more cost-effective than booking two separate appointments. Parts, if any are needed, are quoted separately.
How long does a boiler service take?
A standard boiler service usually takes around 30–45 minutes, depending on the boiler and how accessible it is. We work cleanly and tidily and talk you through anything we find.
What happens during a boiler service?
We check the boiler is burning gas safely and at the correct pressure, that the flue is clearing gases properly, and that the controls and safety devices work. We clean components as needed and let you know if anything requires attention.
